HOUSTON, TX (April 20, 2024) – Two women, in their mid-30s were shot while driving on the North Freeway.
The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. in the 12000 block of the North Freeway, near Gears Rd on the southbound lanes of the freeway.
According to police, the passenger was shot possibly in the neck and chin area. The driver was shot in the legs, and possibly in the torso, and maybe the arm.
At this time, there is not much information about the shooting but it is believed to have happened when a silver car cut them off. For some reason, someone from that car started shooting.
