HOUSTON, TX (June 15, 2024) – A man was transported to the hospital after his cousin shot him with a shotgun filled with birdshot.
The shooting occurred in the 11000 block of Vailview in northeast Houston around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police say the two cousins have had “beef” with one another for a while and one of the men who was visiting with his wife ended up shooting his cousin. The wife did not see the shooting as she was in the room but says she heard two gunshots and saw her husband take off on foot. She then found the cousin shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
