HOUSTON, TX – A man in his mid-20s is in critical condition after being shot four times in the back early Saturday morning near the 6300 block of Windswept.
The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. as the victim and a friend were sitting inside a vehicle in a parking lot near some apartments. A suspect, driving a truck, backed into their vehicle, at which point the victim and his friend exited the car to confront the suspect.
An argument broke out, and the suspect shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene. Bystanders managed to wrestle the gun away from the suspect before he fled.
Houston Police have identified a potential suspect and are working to confirm additional details.
