Dominick Williams identified as man killed in fatal crash in Huffman Wednesday evening

HUFFMAN, TX – A high-speed crash on Wednesday evening left one man dead after he was ejected from his vehicle in northeast Harris County.

The incident occurred around 6:19 p.m. on November 6, 2024, in the 13400 block of FM 1960 East. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, Dominick Williams was driving a 2019 Dodge Challenger eastbound at a high rate of speed. Williams attempted to pass another eastbound vehicle by moving into the westbound lane, but as he re-entered the eastbound lane, he lost control of the vehicle.

The Dodge veered northwest, crossing the shoulder before striking a metal end terminal. The impact caused the vehicle to rotate counter-clockwise and travel west across a grass ditch. As the vehicle went airborne after hitting a grass embankment, it continued to rotate and struck a wood utility pole, which caused it to roll onto its right side. During the impact, Williams, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.

Emergency responders transported Williams to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the crash.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
