HOUSTON, TX – Two brothers in their early 40s were injured in a shooting Friday night in a a parking lot near Collingsworth and Lockwood.
The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. in a parking lot near a food store and beauty supply store. According to police, one brother was shot in the jaw and the other in the shoulder. The victims reported hearing a gunshot but could not provide details about the shooter or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
One victim was transported to the hospital by Houston Fire Department personnel, while the other was taken by a private individual. Authorities later discovered that one of the victims had an open warrant and will be taken into custody.
