HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that occurred Wednesday afternoon on the city’s south side.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 13300 block of Cityscape Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. and found one male unresponsive at the scene. Paramedics pronounced him deceased. His name and age have not yet been released.
According to the Houston Police Department, the preliminary investigation indicates the incident began as a dispute between brothers, which escalated into a fatal stabbing. The incident occurred at the Cityscape Apartments.
Police say the other brother was found covered in blood and surrendered without incident. He was taken into custody. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to interview witnesses.
