HOUSTON, TX – A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing that left a woman dead and a man injured in a northwest Houston neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. Sunday at a residence located at 10411 North Fallen Bough Drive.
According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, officers responded to an assault call and found a man, later identified as Bao Hoang Dinh, 36, involved in an altercation with two individuals in the front yard. Officers detained Dinh at the scene without incident.
Both victims had sustained multiple stab wounds. Paramedics transported them to a hospital, where the female victim was pronounced deceased. The male victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Dinh has been charged with murder and aggravated assault of a family member in the 174th State District Court. The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
