HOUSTON, TX – Three people were injured in a shooting following a disturbance early Sunday morning at the Mustang Inn in Houston.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Tidwell. Upon arrival, officers found that a disturbance had escalated into a shooting. An adult female was shot in the leg, and an adult male was shot in the stomach. Both were transported by EMS to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive.
A third male victim, who sustained a ricochet wound to the back of his shoulders, self-transported to the hospital.
Investigators stated that multiple disturbances occurred in the motel parking lot, which led to more than one firearm being produced and an exchange of gunfire.
