LOS ANGELES, CA – A minor medical emergency occurred on board United Airlines flight UA1945 from Houston (IAH) to Los Angeles (LAX) on Wednesday around 5:25 p.m. Houston time.
According to a passenger on the plane, a male passenger was in the lavatory for an extended period, prompting a call for any doctors or nurses on board. Three medical professionals volunteered to assist.
The flight continued to its scheduled destination without diversion and landed early at 4:33 p.m. (PST)
Upon arrival at LAX, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics boarded the aircraft to evaluate the passenger. The man was reportedly ambulatory and able to deplane without assistance.
