One killed, employee injured in shooting at Bubba’s 33 in Pasadena

PASADENA, TX – One person was fatally shot and a restaurant employee was injured after a shooting inside Bubba’s 33 in Pasadena.

The shooting occurred around 8:13 p.m.

According to the Pasadena Police Department, multiple calls were received reporting a shooting inside the restaurant. One victim was shot and later pronounced deceased. A second victim, an employee of the restaurant, was struck by a stray bullet and sustained a non-life-threatening injury. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

After the shooting, several patrons attempted to detain the suspect, but he fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police stated that the suspect and initial victim were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
