HOUSTON, TX – July 20, 2025 – A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the 3100 block of Isabella Street, prompting a homicide investigation by the Houston Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene around 4:10 a.m. and found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the chest. EMS personnel administered medical aid on scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
The suspected shooter is in custody, and the scene has been secured.
According to police, several witness statements have been collected, but the events leading up to the shooting remain unknown. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division is leading the investigation.
