Several detained after gunfire erupted at large party on Hopper Road

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to reports of gunfire at a large party in the 4900 block of Hopper Road early Sunday morning.

The call came in around 1:20 a.m., and deputies arriving on scene reported hearing multiple gunshots fired into the air. They observed an individual shooting rounds inside a fenced area of the property.

Additional units were requested, and as attendees began leaving the party, deputies heard more gunfire. Several firearms were recovered, and multiple individuals were detained. No one is believed to have been struck by gunfire.

One person was transported to a hospital for an unrelated injury. Some of the detained individuals may be minors, and their faces are blurred in the above video footage.
