HARRIS COUNTY, TX (August 6, 2025) – Constable Mark Herman is inviting families to cool off and celebrate the start of the school year with free snow cones this Friday, August 8, 2025.
The Back to School Snow Cones for Kids event will begin at 10:00 a.m. at 6817 Cypresswood Drive, behind the Barbara Bush Library, and will continue while supplies last. The event is open to the public.
Constable Herman’s Office has partnered with Sunny Daze to provide complimentary snow cones for children. Precinct 3 Commissioner Tom Ramsey will also be in attendance to help mark the occasion.
The event offers families a chance to meet local deputies, enjoy a treat, and kick off the school year with community spirit. Organizers note that no county funds are being used for this event.
