HOUSTON, TX – Police are investigating after a man and woman exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of the Sterlingshire apartment complex in the 9000 block of Sterlingshire around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
According to Houston Police, officers with the Northeast Patrol Division arrived to find that both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds during an altercation. The woman was transported from the scene to a local hospital in stable condition. The man was transported from a nearby location, and his condition is unknown.
Police said a third woman, who was in a vehicle with a man, left the scene but was later located at another nearby location and detained. It is unknown if she will face any charges.
