HOUSTON, TX – A man was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning at the intersection of South Post Oak and Brookfield.
The shooting was reported around 2:10 a.m. According to Houston Police, officers with the Southwest Patrol Division arrived to find a vehicle that had been struck multiple times by gunfire with several occupants inside.
The occupants told police they were at the intersection when another vehicle pulled up and someone began shooting in their direction. The male driver, believed to be in his mid-30s, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by Houston Fire Department personnel to a local hospital in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported. Police said there is no suspect or suspect vehicle description available at this time.
