Hundreds displaced after three-alarm fire breaks out at 3 Corners West Apartments in Spring Branch

HOUSTON, TX – A three-alarm fire displaced hundreds of residents at the 3 Corners West Apartments on Teague Street in northwest Houston.

The Houston Fire Department responded around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters arrived within minutes and switched to a defensive attack as the blaze spread. More than 100 firefighters ultimately responded to the scene.

One firefighter was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center for a shoulder injury. A second firefighter suffered a heat-related illness but did not require hospital transport.

The American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast is assisting displaced residents with emergency shelter and recovery support.
