HOUSTON, TX – A fatal crash occurred when a vehicle traveling southbound on Durham Street at a high rate of speed lost control and struck a utility pole.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at Durham and Nett.
The male driver, believed to be in his late 30s to mid-40s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not yet been confirmed.
CenterPoint Energy crews were also on scene to repair damage to the utility pole.
