Man found dead with “obvious trauma” at Austin mobile home park

AUSTIN, TX – A man was found deceased with “obvious trauma” at the Frontier Valley Mobile Home Park Saturday night, according to the Austin Police Department.

Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to the 1400 block of Frontier Valley Drive after receiving a high-priority “shoot stab hot shot” call. Upon arrival, officers located a Hispanic male with “obvious trauma” and immediately began medical aid until Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department arrived. The victim was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:56 p.m.

The incident is being investigated as Austin’s 44th homicide of 2025. Police said the victim was found on private property. His residence status is not known at this time.

Multiple persons of interest were speaking with detectives as of the last update. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and stated there is no known threat to the public.
