Overturned truck, diesel spill shuts down IH-610 North Loop westbound at IH-45 North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A major crash involving an overturned heavy-duty truck shut down the westbound lanes of IH-610 North Loop at the IH-45 North Freeway interchange Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Lt. Garza with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the truck lost its load of gravel and a diesel spill was also reported at the scene. All westbound lanes were closed, and traffic was heavily backed up in the area.
