Surveillance images released of persons of interest in fatal West Bellfort Avenue shooting

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have released surveillance photos of three persons of interest and their vehicles related to the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man at an apartment complex in the 11675 block of West Bellfort Avenue.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on September 15. Officers arrived to find the male victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. His identity is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to witnesses, multiple gunshots were heard before the victim was found. A male and female were seen leaving the scene on a motorcycle, and a dark-colored Dodge Ram pick-up was also observed fleeing the area. That vehicle was later spotted near the 11700 block of Beechnut Street with visible bullet holes.

The Houston Police Department is seeking to identify:

  • A male and female last seen on a motorcycle
  • A person associated with a dark-colored Dodge Ram pick-up
