HOUSTON, TX – A man was found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head early Friday morning after a shooting at the Monsoon Inn & Suites located at 7447 North Freeway.
Around 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call and later located the victim at a nearby Shell gas station at 7480 North Shepherd. The man was alert, mobile, and transported by ambulance in non-critical condition.
According to the Houston Police Department, the victim stated they were playing with guns when one discharged, striking him in the back of the head. Officers are still processing the scene, and the exact circumstances remain under investigation.
