DODGE CITY, KS – Three people are dead following a structure fire that broke out the morning of October 12, 2025, in the area between McArtor Road and Agnes Street, according to the Dodge City Fire Department.
Fire crews were dispatched at 9:37 a.m. and arrived to find two trailer homes and three vehicles involved, with one trailer fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
The Dodge City Police Department is currently working to identify the deceased and is interviewing family members as part of the investigation.
An engine remains on scene to monitor for flare-ups. The Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified and will lead the investigation into the cause of the fire.
