HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating after a man was found deceased beneath the North Loop East overpass late Thursday night.
The discovery was made around 10:10 p.m. in the 7600 block of North Loop East (North Interstate Highway 610). According to the Houston Police Department, the man, believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, was found hanging under the middle of the overpass with burns on his body.
Houston Fire Department personnel were already on scene when HPD officers arrived. The cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences following an autopsy.
