HOUSTON, TX – A man in his early 50s was shot and killed by his cousin during a domestic-related dispute early Saturday morning in the 3500 block of Russell Street.
Officers arrived to find the man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced deceased at the scene while responding to a shooting in progress.
According to investigators, the victim was being dropped off by his cousin at home. The two began arguing during the drive, and the situation escalated into a physical altercation upon arrival. During the struggle, the victim was shot once and killed.
The suspect does not live at the location, but the victim resided there with another family member.
