The Department of Justice announced today that a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of California returned a six-count indictment charging Tony Christopher Long, 19, of Porterville, California, with two counts of animal crushing, sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, cyberstalking, and transmitting an interstate threat.

Long, also known by the online aliases Inactive, Inactivee0 and inactivecvx, is currently in state custody on related charges, officials said.
According to the indictment returned Oct. 23, 2025, Long, a member and associate of the Nihilistic Violent Extremist network known as “764,” engaged in alleged criminal conduct in late 2024 that included animal crushing, the sexual exploitation of a juvenile in Washington state, and cyberstalking and online threats against a juvenile in Kern County, California.
If convicted, Long faces statutory maximum penalties that include up to 30 years in prison on the sexual exploitation count (with a 15-year mandatory minimum), seven years on each animal crushing count, 10 years for possession of sexual-exploitation material, 20 years for cyberstalking, and two years for making an interstate threat. Each count also carries a potential fine of up to $250,000. Sentencing, if any, will be determined by a federal judge after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
The FBI is investigating the case with assistance from the Porterville Police Department. The matter was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide Department of Justice initiative to combat child sexual exploitation.
