HUMBLE, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Aldine Bender near Lee Rd, around 10:30 p.m.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, the victim, described as a 50- to 60-year-old man who was possibly homeless, was either crossing or standing in the street when he was hit and projected into the median. EMS pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The driver, a man about 40 years old, remained on scene, cooperated with investigators, and showed no signs of intoxication.
The case will be reviewed by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
