HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 700 West Loop North (West Interstate Highway 610 North) about 12:55 a.m. earlier today.
A maroon Lexus ES350 was traveling the wrong way on the southbound entrance ramp when it collided head-on with a white Toyota Sienna. Houston Fire Department pronounced the 38-year-old Lexus driver deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The investigation is ongoing.
