Driver critically injured after two masked men open fire on vehicle in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Officers with the North Patrol Division responded to a shooting call in the 8000 block of Orebo at about 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department personnel transported him to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Witnesses reported that two males wearing ski masks were standing in the street and began shooting at a vehicle as it drove away. Three additional passengers were inside the vehicle and were not injured.
