HOUSTON, TX – A fatal crash involving two occupants occurred on the feeder of the 11900 block of the Northwest Freeway near the entrance ramp north of Hewitt.
Viewer video provided to Houston Stringer by Justise Johnson shows the vehicle fully engulfed in flames moments after it struck a barricade. The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed failed to maintain a single lane and hit the barrier separating the service road from the freeway entrance. The vehicle caught fire and burned. One occupant was found inside the vehicle.
According to police, the vehicle was heavily burned, and no identifiers are available at this time. Two people were pronounced deceased.
