HOUSTON, TX – A house fire broke out in the 3500 block of Sampson Street in Houston’s Greater Third Ward area at 11:35 p.m. on December 30, 2025.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from a small structure and initiated a defensive attack. Crews also addressed downed power lines near the structure and brought the fire under control.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
A total of 38 personnel responded, including firefighters from Stations 23, 8, 46, 18, 25, 7 and Rehab 42.
