HOUSTON, TX – A man was critically injured in a possible exchange of gunfire during a shooting at a gas station in the 6900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers with the Southeast Patrol Division responded to the scene and found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid before the victim was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a nearby hospital. He remains in critical condition.
Police say the shooting followed a physical altercation between the victim and two other individuals in the parking lot. During the confrontation, the victim was struck and a gas pump caught fire during the shooting as well.
The two suspects fled the scene in a white Ford truck and have not yet been located.
