Johnny Binder announces $1 million lawsuit as Dr. Candice Matthews, others call out QX Global at Houston press conference

HOUSTON, TX – Dr. Candice Matthews and several supporters held a press conference outside Big City Food in Northeast Houston to address what they allege is a coordinated defamation campaign by individuals associated with a group known as QX Global.

Dr. Matthews stated that the group has been reported to both the Federal Communications Commission and the FBI and is under federal investigation. She claimed the group has targeted her and others, including Kristen Danielle of Houston Bayou Victims, Grizzy of Grizzy’s Hood News, Johnny Binder, and others, through a series of false accusations and online attacks.

According to Dr. Matthews, the situation began with a dispute between Jennifer Knight and Quanell X, who previously collaborated on the QX Global platform. She alleged Knight took control of the page and began spreading misinformation, including personal attacks against Dr. Matthews and others. Dr. Matthews responded by presenting her academic transcripts, dissertation, and licensing documents related to her work in child welfare.

Kristen Danielle alleged that Jennifer Knight’s daughter trafficked her own daughter to Mexico and that multiple victims have come forward, including one who remains in Mexico after five years. Danielle said she initially received reports from victims and contacted Dr. Matthews, who then notified the FBI. According to Danielle, the FBI contacted the first victim within 24 hours. She also accused Knight of doxxing the victims and targeting anyone who attempted to expose the situation.

Johnny Binder, speaking alongside Dr. Matthews, announced a $1 million defamation lawsuit against Jennifer Knight, David Jones, Eric Sanchez, and others. Binder said false claims had been made about him involving child-related offenses, which he adamantly denied, stating those charges were dismissed decades ago. He emphasized that the accusations have damaged his reputation and interfered with his livelihood.

Binder also warned that both civil and criminal actions are being pursued against those spreading the false claims. He reiterated that the purpose of the press conference was to confront the allegations with evidence and to demand accountability.

Dr. Matthews noted that the individuals behind QX Global were invited to attend the press conference but did not appear.
