HOUSTON, TX – Firefighters responded to a house fire around 1:42 a.m. in the 200 block of Weisenberger where flames were coming from both sides of the roof.
According to the Houston Fire Department, all occupants and pets were already outside when firefighters arrived. Crews began a primary search of the structure, but the roof collapsed shortly after entry.
Firefighters were forced to transition to a defensive operation.
