HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A teenage male was critically injured after being shot in the neck in the 5200 block of Aldine Mail Route.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the area. A bystander transported the teen from the scene to a local hospital. He was later transferred to a downtown facility for further treatment. His current condition remains unknown, though he was last reported to be in critical condition.
Shell casings were recovered at the scene, but no weapons were found. One nearby vehicle was struck by gunfire. No other injuries were reported.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that several people were in the area near local businesses, and a few witnesses were interviewed. The motive remains unknown, and no suspects have been identified.
