Houston SPCA asked to investigate dogs observed during protest outside QX Global leader home

HOUSTON, TX – During a community protest held outside the residence of Eric Sanchez, identified as a leader of QX Global, concerns were raised about the condition of two dogs observed in the yard of the property on Friday the 13th.

According to Dr. Candice Matthews, nationally renowned human and civil rights activist and advocate, the animals appeared visibly malnourished and in distress. Witnesses present at the protest stated the dogs looked underweight, prompting concerns about their health and overall welfare.

Dr. Matthews said she formally contacted the Houston SPCA to request an independent investigation so trained animal welfare professionals could assess the animals and determine whether intervention is necessary.

The Houston SPCA investigates allegations of animal cruelty and neglect within its jurisdiction. If violations are identified, potential actions may include medical evaluation, removal of animals, or referral for possible charges under Texas animal cruelty statutes.

Dr. Matthews stated the report was made out of concern for animal safety and accountability. The matter remains under review pending any findings from animal welfare authorities.
