Man shot on W Hardy dies after making it to nearby store for help

HOUSTON, TX – A man in his mid-30s was shot one time in the 15900 block of W Hardy and later died at the hospital.

According to police, after being wounded on the street, he made it several hundred yards down the road to a nearby store, where someone called 911.

Responding units began treating him until the Houston Fire Department arrived and transported him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Houston police said there were no witnesses at the scene. It is unknown at this time whether the shooter was on foot or inside a vehicle.
