Second alarm requested after garage found fully engulfed in flames at northwest Houston home

HOUSTON, TX – According to the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department, crews responded to a residential fire in the Inwood North area of northwest Houston.

The fire occurred in the 8000 block of Bold Forest Drive. Upon arrival, the first crews on scene reported the garage of the main residence was fully engulfed in flames, and a second alarm was requested due to the risk of the fire spreading to nearby structures.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Everyone inside the residence was confirmed safe.

Mutual aid was provided by the Little York Fire Department, Cypress Creek Fire Department, Champions Fire Department, and Cy-Fair Fire Department.
