Fire damages private day care center school overnight in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A fire overnight damaged the Edu-Care Private School, a private day care center school, on Kuykendahl in north Houston.

According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, firefighters with the Ponderosa Fire Department responded to the daycare facility shortly after 2 a.m. and contained the fire to the building, which was not occupied at the time.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
