HOUSTON, TX – Dr. Candice Matthews distributed missing person flyers and additional community alerts in multiple neighborhoods.
According to statements made by Dr. Matthews, the flyers included information regarding a missing individual identified as Jazmin Perez and allegations that her mother, Jenifer Knighton, trafficked her to Mexico.
Dr. Matthews stated that she has been in communication with law enforcement and the FBI regarding the case and encouraged residents to report any information if they see the missing individual.
During the outreach, neighbors in the area were seen reacting with surprise as they learned about the situation. In the video, residents indicated they were unaware of the allegations and described the situation as unexpected in their neighborhood.
The outreach also included separate alerts related to social media activity involving individuals identified as Jenifer Knighton and Erich Sanchez, who Dr. Matthews stated run the QX Global News page. She described the activity as containing racist content and stated the purpose of the alerts was to inform the surrounding community.
Dr. Matthews indicated that flyers were placed on doorknobs in the respective neighborhoods as part of community-based outreach efforts.
