Man found shot and killed outside elementary school

HOUSTON, TX – A man was found fatally shot outside an elementary school in northwest Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the shooting was reported around 9 p.m. in the 3600 block of Hollister, in front of Hollibrook Elementary School.

Police say officers with the Northwest Patrol Division responded to the scene and found a male with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department personnel were already on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Officers are canvassing the area for information. At this time, there are no known witnesses.

Police said the victim was found after the incident had already occurred. Detectives with the HPD Homicide Division are investigating.
