HOUSTON, TX – A man remains in critical condition after being shot during a dispute at the Economy Inn & Suites in southwest Houston.
The shooting occurred around 11:40 p.m. at 13900 S Main Street. According to police, officers from the Southwest Patrol Division responded to reports of a shooting and found the victim severely injured. Officers began CPR until Houston Fire Department personnel arrived and took over. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Preliminary information indicates the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another male when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot him once. A dispute over an alleged theft may have led to the altercation.
The suspect remains unknown at this time.
