HOUSTON, TX – A multi-vehicle crash occurred around 12:14 a.m. in the 17100 block of the Eastex Freeway, involving a black sedan, a pickup truck, and an 18-wheeler.
The black sedan was reportedly traveling northbound at a high rate of speed and weaving through traffic before striking the pickup truck. The impact caused the pickup to collide with an 18-wheeler and then a utility pole.
The driver of the black sedan was transported to the hospital in critical condition and remains in critical condition as of the last update.
All other drivers and passengers involved were not injured.
