HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot in the hand early Sunday morning following an altercation at a strip center near Antoine and West Tidwell.
The shooting occurred around 12:15 a.m. According to the Houston Police Department’s North Division, officers responded to the scene and located a male victim who told police that a group of individuals had been trying to harm him.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to the hand and was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a local hospital in stable condition.
Officers detained five suspects at the scene and recovered a possible weapon from a vehicle associated with the suspects.
Police stated that the suspects and the victim are believed to have known each other prior to the incident, but their relationship remains unclear.
