HOUSTON, TX – A 16-year-old male was transported to the hospital in serious condition following a shooting Friday night in north Houston. https://youtu.be/hTG2PUG3AvM The shooting occurred around 9:29 p.m. in the 15200 block of Ella Boulevard, in front of Eickenroht Elementary. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the teen was shot by unknown suspects near the school property. No additional suspect information has been released at this time. Woman climbs out of overturned vehicle after crash in Downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A woman managed to climb out of her vehicle after it landed on its side following a crash in Downtown Houston. The collision occurred around 9 a.m. near the intersection of Louisiana Street and McKinney Street. According to witnesses, the female driver was seen jumping out of the vehicle after the crash. A man in a white vehicle who remained on scene reportedly admitted to causing the accident and assisted the woman in getting out of her vehicle. Preliminary information indicates the female suffered gunshot wounds, and the male died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A resident who did not want to be on camera said they woke up to commotion and saw several emergency vehicles outside including SWAT. “It sounded like something big was going down,” the resident said, adding that they later received an email advising residents not to leave their apartments. “...

Woman arrested in Sulphur Springs after allegedly attacking mother with knife

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX – A 33-year-old woman was arrested on March 31, 2025, after police responded to a domestic disturbance involving a knife on Hinnant Street. According to the Sulphur Springs Police Department, Cortney Shay Noble fled the scene upon officers’ arrival and was detained near Towne Street after a brief struggle. Police say Noble resisted arrest and pushed against officers during her placement into a patrol vehicle. Her mother, the victim in the incident, sustained a knife-related laceration to her finger during the altercation. Friendswood man arrested by Galveston County deputies in sexual assault case
