HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Johanna Drive Saturday evening. Officers responded to reports of two groups of males exchanging gunfire in a parking lot of an apartment complex around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered several shell casings and a blood trail but no victims at the scene. Shortly after, one male was found deceased at a local clinic from apparent gunshot wounds. A second male was later found at a hospital with gunshot wounds and stated he had come from the same location. Police have one suspect in custody, who was apprehended at the hospital. HOUSTON, TX – A police officer sustained minor injuries after a wrong-way driver struck a police vehicle in the earlier this morning. The crash occurred around 1:03 a.m. in the 2800 block of Smith Street. https://youtu.be/jYUCsS-YFxY According to police, the vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction and struck the police vehicle and another car that was stopped at the intersection of Smith Street and Tuam Street. The wrong-way driver continued driving and shortly after hit a parked vehicle. Police suspect the driver may have been intoxicated. The officer involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. No other drivers were injured or transported.

HOUSTON, TX – A woman is in critical condition after being assaulted by an unknown male outside a northwest Houston residence Saturday night.
