HOUSTON, TX – Ten people were injured in a major crash involving two vehicles on the Eastex Feeder near Beltway 8. https://youtu.be/82I81TEcvYk The collision occurred around 8:29 p.m. Saturday evening in the 15199 block of the southbound Eastex Feeder at the Beltway 8 intersection. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, all ten individuals involved were reported to be in fair condition. The southbound service road was shut down at the beltway intersection, although westbound traffic on the beltway remained open. The Houston Police Department will be leading the investigation into the crash.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to initial reports, the victim had been speaking with a female in the parking lot when the suspect approached from behind. The suspect, described as wearing all black and armed with a pistol, shot the victim once before fleeing on foot toward a nearby apartment complex. HOUSTON, TX – A homeowner shot a burglary suspect Friday night at a residence in the 2300 block of Kelving, according to police. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. A man in his 50s and his pregnant wife, who is due any day, were at home when they heard beeping noises that triggered their alarm system. The sound appeared to be coming from near the garage. The man armed himself with a pistol and went to investigate. Upon reaching the garage, he discovered the garage door open and saw an individual sitting inside his wife’s vehicle, which was parked in the driveway. The area was poorly lit, and as the homeowner confronted the suspect, the individual exited the vehicle and moved toward the driveway. The black sedan came to rest facing the wrong direction in the middle of the freeway and was disabled. One female occupant was inside the black sedan at the time of the initial collision.
