HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 8, 2024) - A 17 year old is in the hospital after being shot in the 1300 block of Oakengates according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. This is a developing story and we will update as we learn more information.

HOUSTON, TX (June 9, 2024) - One man is critically injured and LBJ Hospital went into lockdown after a road rage incident lead to a chase and shooting. Police were dispatched around 1 a.m. According to police, the incident started when a truck and another vehicle crashed near 610 and Homestead Rd. The truck then fled the scene and the suspect followed them to the 9700 block of Homestead where they started to argue. Some additional family members showed up and scared off the suspects but as the truck was fleeing, the suspects started shooting at the truck striking one of the passengers in the head. HOUSTON, TX (June 8, 2024) - A man was found shot in the parking lot of the Opal at Barker Cypress Apartment Complex in west Harris County Saturday morning. https://youtu.be/_xgMS1kSgBQ The shooting occurred at about 4:20 a.m. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the man was transported to a local hospital. HOUSTON (June 7, 2024) - At approximately 10:40 p.m., a 16-year-old female pedestrian was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the 8400 block of Bellaire Boulevard. https://youtu.be/wDZv3CK4mC8 The victim was walking southbound across Bellaire Boulevard when she was hit after crossing the center median. Police say she did not use a crosswalk and the driver remained on scene.

HOUSTON, TX (June 7, 2024) - A teen is dead after a drug deal turned violent. https://youtu.be/ehN_ZxPEuTU The shooting occurred just after 8 p.m. at the Abbey at Briar Forest Apartment Complex located at 11655 Briar Forest in west Houston. According to police, the 17 year old who was living with his 21 year old girlfriend was at home when two other men in their 20's showed up to do a drug transaction. The girlfriend and the victim were in the bathroom trying to get some money together and when they exited police say the suspects made it clear that they did not want the teen there and one of the suspects shot him in the arm. HOUSTON, TX (June 6, 2024) - A 5-year-old girl died after drowning at an apartment complex in southwest Houston Saturday evening. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the drowning call at the Walden of Westchase Apartments and found her unresponsive in the pool. This happened around 8:10 p.m. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department then transported her to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Her identity has not been released. If you have any information about the drowning, you are urged to contact the HPD's Homicide Division.
