PALO ALTO, CA – Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred late Saturday night on Alma Street near the University Avenue overcrossing. The crash happened on September 28, 2025, at approximately 11:57 p.m. According to the Palo Alto Police Department, officers and Palo Alto Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found a man in his forties unconscious inside a pickup truck. He was extricated and transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. GREENWOOD, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 19-year-old Jayden Waters of Delmar, Maryland, for DUI and vehicular assault charges following a head-on crash that seriously injured three people, including a 13-year-old, late Friday night. GREENWOOD, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 27-year-old Ivory Brown of Harrington following a single-vehicle crash that left five passengers injured, including a child, late Friday night. The crash occurred on September 26, 2025, at approximately 11:21 p.m. in the 6500 block of Hickman Road. According to troopers, Brown was driving a Ford Edge that veered off the roadway near Woodbridge Road, entered a ditch, and overturned multiple times. MALIBU, CA – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday night at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Carbon Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 9:41 p.m. on September 26, 2025. A blue BMW sedan was traveling westbound in the No. 1 lane of Pacific Coast Highway when it hit a male pedestrian who was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
