FAIRFIELD, CA – Fairfield Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide after officers discovered two people deceased inside an apartment early Saturday morning. Around 3:03 a.m. on November 1, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 3700 block of Lyon Road after several callers reported hearing gunfire. Upon arrival, officers located a man and a woman deceased inside the residence. Detectives responded and began investigating. Preliminary findings indicate the deaths may have resulted from an apparent murder-suicide, though the official cause of death will be determined following further investigation. VICTORVILLE, CA – A 43-year-old man from Apple Valley died Wednesday morning after suffering a medical emergency that led to a crash in Victorville. SIMI VALLEY, CA – A man was critically injured after his electric bike collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Sequoia Avenue and Darby Street. The crash occurred around 12:08 p.m. on October 25, 2025. According to the Simi Valley Police Department, the rider, identified as 84-year-old Janes Nownes, was transported to Los Robles Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
