29-year-old woman killed in four-vehicle crash on State Route 12 in Boonville

BOONVILLE, NY – A 29-year-old woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 12 in the Town of Boonville, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol. The crash occurred around 4:06 p.m. and involved four vehicles. An initial investigation determined that the woman was operating a 2011 Ford Taurus sedan southbound on Route 12 and had stopped to turn left into a residential driveway. While stopped, her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2024 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Edward Wolf, 75, of Ohio, NY. The impact pushed the Ford Taurus into the northbound lane, where it collided with a Jeep Compass driven by Thomas Kristoff, 59, of Boonville.
