74-year-old woman identified in fatal Lockport-Olcott Road crash

NEWFANE, NY – The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman killed in a motor vehicle crash on Lockport-Olcott Road as 74-year-old Adele M. Sullivan of Lockport. The crash occurred at approximately 7:13 p.m. on October 16, 2025, in the Town of Newfane. Sullivan was operating a southbound 2014 Chevrolet at the time of the incident. The investigation into the crash has been concluded.

ULSTER COUNTY, NY – Two people were killed in a head-on crash early in the morning on Kings Highway near Sinsapaugh Lane, according to the Saugerties Police Department. At approximately 5:27 a.m., officers responded to the scene and located two heavily damaged vehicles in the northbound lane. A 2023 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 65-year-old man from Waterbury, Connecticut, was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2022 Ford F-150 operated by a 19-year-old male from Lake Katrine.
